The Bible Experience is a community devotional project where people read the Bible and share their own spiritual perspectives and life stories. 

A Brief History

Ray Berg, a longtime member of the Hood View Seventh-day Adventist Church community in Boring, Oregon had a vision for people reading the Bible and sharing their experiences and perspectives together. Though he was a part of religious communities for many years, the Bible was not a central part of his life until he began to intentionally journey through it for himself about five years ago. This changed his life, his understanding of his purpose and how God wants to be involved with him. Since that time he has been reading through the Bible each year. He wants others to go on their own journey with God and community through the Bible, too.
